Occasionally the romantic interest character is the object of pursuit rather than working with the protagonist. Omniscient POV Omniscient POV tells the story from the author’s POV. You as the author know everything about your story—what each character feels, what events in your story mean, and to where everything is leading. This style was especially common in 19th century novels. Omniscient POV is not popular today because it can be disorienting.
